Code Of Conduct For Students
(Article 61B of Education Code)
(A) The following acts and conduct on the part of students will amount to misconduct:
- i. Misbehaviour towards teachers or any other employee of the school.
- ii. Intentional disturbance of the classes.
- iii. Absent from classes without the permission of the teacher/ Principal
- iv. Bullying/intimidation of others.
- v. Eve-teasing/misbehaviour towards girl students.
- vi. Damaging/disfiguration of school property.
- vii. Propagating a strike/disruption of classes.
- viii. Indulging in physical violence.
- ix. Disobeying lawful orders of the teacher/Principal.
- x. Bringing unauthorised people/articles inside the school.
- xi. Theft/Pilferage of school/student's property.
- xii. Any behaviour unbecoming of a student.
- xiii. Indulging in acts of moral turpitude.
- xiv. Bringing mobile phones to the school.
- xv. Students using school telephones for simple reasons without any emergency and using phone without permission from the Principal.
(B) In above acts of misconduct, Principal may take suitable action as per observations of the disciplinary committee depending on the gravity of the misconduct, which may include:
- i. Oral/written warnings to the students and parents.
- ii. Suspension from attending classes/school for a specified period.
- iii. Recovery of loss to school property.
- iv. Issue of Transfer Certificate.
- v. Expulsion/rustication from school.
